Using the site

Sudokusama is free to play. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You may play the puzzles for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

Accounts

An account is optional — every mode is playable without one. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under it. Pick a username and display name that you would be comfortable showing to a stranger: in multiplayer they are visible to everyone in your room. We may remove accounts or names that are abusive, impersonating, or offensive.

Fair play

Please do not:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated solvers to play, or to inflate leaderboard results
• Scrape, bulk-download, or resell our puzzles or content
• Interfere with the site, its servers, or other players' games
• Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours

Our solver is provided as a learning tool for puzzles you already have — using it against our own leaderboard would only spoil your own fun.

Content

The site, its design, its written guides, and the puzzles it generates belong to us. You are welcome to print puzzles from our printable page for personal, classroom, or family use. Republishing our content commercially requires permission.

Availability

Sudokusama is offered as is, with no guarantee of uptime. We may add, change, or remove features and game modes at any time, and we may stop offering the service. Your saved games and streaks live in your browser — clearing your browser data will erase them, and we cannot recover them.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or for lost game progress, streaks, or scores. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

How we handle data is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
